Testing the waters. This 62 Galaxie is a rust free survivor with 55,000 original miles. Car was parked inside a shop around 1977. Dry eastern Washington State car. Originally a 352V8 automatic, now has a 390. Runs like a swiss watch. Oil pressure is good, never overheats. Engine is very quiet. Has been rebuilt. Transmission shifts fine. No leaks. Car drives good. Work done includes; rebuilt front end including tie rods, ball joints and control arm bushings. Rebuilt rear differental with 3.50 gears. New custom exhaust from the exhaust manifolds back to the rear of the car. Sounds great. All new brakes, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums. Was a power steering car, (have parts) now manual steering. Headliner was redone along with new windshield, rubber seal and rear window seal. New door panels, new seat upholstery & carpet. Dash totally redone, looks good. Firewall pad replaced. All electrical works except dash clock and radio. Gas gauge & Temp gauge work. New BF Goodrich T/As on 15" Cragar S/S rims. Had a front end alignment done, goes down the road straight. Had one cheapo repaint in the past, needs redone, original paint showing through. Owned for several years and have a lot of work and money in this car but I would like to have a 61 Starliner and don"t have the room for both. Super car, you would be hard pressed to find another one as good as this. Would assist with shipping but you would need to arrange.
