Vehicle description
Up for sale is a very rare 1962 Dodge Town Wagon.
The exterior has been fully sandblasted and coated with phosphoric acid to prevent rust. The body is in good shape for its age, there are only a small handful of rust spots on the back doors and rear section of the top. All-in-all very little metal work is needed. The couple spots of body filler around the rear fenders are because they were added after-the-fact (personally, I like it with all four fenders). The drivetrain is made-up of a Mopar 440 backed with a Torqueflight 727 transmission. Recently started working on the brake system by adding a new master cylinder – the vehicle will need towed as there are no brakes at this moment. Lots of other upgrades and replacements. This is a perfect starting point for a custom build. Given the age and rarity of these vehicles, this is a deal not worth passing up.
