1962 Dodge Polara 500 361 big block, pushbutton automatic. History: I purchased this car 20 years ago from a gentleman in Pennsylvania. It still has its 1976 PA inspection sticker in the windshield. It has spent most of its life since i"ve had it in storage. Another Mopar has come into my posession and i"m seling this one.
Work done / items replaced: I have replaced the following: Re-Cored the original radiator, Mopar elecronic ignition sytem, Jacobs wires and coil, Edelbrock carb, 69 HP exhaust manifolds into dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. Mopar lightweight master cylinder,all new brake lines and emergency brake cables. Lightweight mini-starter, Updated to factory Mopar "73 -up disc brakes. Front end rebuilt, manual steering box. The rear is from a 69 B body with 3.23 gears. New gas tank. Additional parts included are a re-chromed gauge bezel, set of taillights,original hubcaps.
The car is very solid, Frame rails are excellent . there is NO rot in the trunk or floorpans. There is surface rust on the body as the paint is flaking off in spots. Car is complete and not missing any trim, Engine runs smooth.
Clean NJ title in my name Payment: Deposit within 24hrs of the end of the auction. Payment in cash upon pickup.
