About this vehicle This 1962 Chevrolet Suburban is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Nice project truck. I bought this Suburban to convert to a 4x4 but life plans have changed. It has a strong running 350 mated to 700r4 overdrive transmission. Has original torsion front suspension and coil rear springs. Drives good but does NOT have power brakes or power steering. Drums on all four corners. Glass is good and body has some rust in front wheel wells. This was a California truck, so it is pretty much rot free. I had it on a lift and it’s super solid underneath. Dual exhaust sounds good and exits underneath in front of rear axle. Chrome bumpers are nice but grille has rust. Frame is original to truck and has vin number stamping visible in case your dmv verifies that for titles. Exterior Driver quality paint. Interior Comfy seats, with nice vinyl upholstery.
