UPDATE Feb. 7TH : Correction to my initial ad description on the transmission. The car is equipped with a 700R transmission and NOT a powerglide. Sorry for any confusion.
Attention watchers, this Impala is under appreciated. The fit and finish is absolute perfection. Even though this Impala is a consignment vehicle and not my personal vehicle, I can confidently say it"s a near 100 point perfect build. I"ve built and owned numerous Impalas over the years and you simply can not build a car of this caliber for the asking price. Let me put it this way. . I"ll tell you what this Impala is NOT . If you"re a finicky individual who"s a perfectionist in every aspect of your life, you"ll appreciate the following but won"t feel bad about discounting other people"s idea of their description of a "nice" build, "perfect" build or any other adjective used to describe a car. Everyone has a different idea of the word "nice", wouldn"t you agree? I"ve traveled miles to look at a classic car only to be disappointed within the first minute upon arrival. I"m here to tell you. . this car does not disappoint, PERIOD! We"ve all seen cars at the local car shows that are "20 footers" or even some "10 footers". Not this one. . walk up, get in or crawl around and you"ll observe what my eyes see and that is nothing but a quality, detailed build in every aspect of the car. You will NOT find any lose ends or incomplete steps of the build like weather stripping, electrical wiring, A/C plumbing or upholstery. That"s a big one for me. . I see so many shoddy interiors, that it makes me want to throw up.
So please, if you"ve always wanted to own a highly desirable year of the Chevrolet Impala line-up (1958 - 1970"s), do yourself a favor and read through the specifications and study the photos posted here, you"ll be hard pressed to find a similar car with this desirable color combination. Most everyone will agree it doesn"t get much better than black on red. I"ve also added photos of the underside which you"ll see is just as pleasing to look at as the top side. It runs and drives as good as it looks and when the exhaust cut-off switch is activated, that 502 big block sounds soooooo nasty and attracts so much attention. And hey, who are we foolin. . if you"re a car guy or gal, you know you secretly get a grin from that attention. So take some time to soak in this ad and if your finances will allow you to treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind bada$$ Impala, then call me with any and all questions and then let"s strike up a deal. On behalf of one of our client"s, we"re consigning this vehicle and offering it for sale. As part of a private collection, this Impala underwent a full frame-off restoration by a professional shop and it shows in every way. With a no expense spared budget, it was methodically restored and accessorized with some of the best and popular Go-Fast goodies. GENERAL INFO :
Builders took what GM already perfected and restored it while introducing an updated power plant (502cid), A/C, 4 wheel drilled and slotted rotors and calipers. The goal was to retain the original look and that was accomplished by having the interior re-upholstered in factory reproduction 1962 Super Sport seat covers, door panels, carpet and headliner. Adding to the comfort, a custom made center console, Auto Meter gauges/tach and ice cold air conditioning finishes off the interior nicely.

The exterior panels are laser straight with consistent gaps throughout the fender-door-hood and trunk panels. Moving into the interior and you"ll notice in the photos that all of the glass and weather stripping has been replaced. The trim pieces have been installed correctly and fit just as they did from the factory. Again, this was performed by professionals and the fit and finish is the best one could ask for with a build of this caliber and asking price. Under the hood, you"ll be dazzled by the attention to detail on that 502 big block along with the Vintage Air serpentine belt system and compressor, custom cold air intake and billet aluminum hood hinges.
