Vehicle description
For sale is a 1962 Buick Skylark convertible. The car is in awesome shape, runs and drives great. The interior looks brand new and the power black convertible top works great. The paint is in good shape, a solid 8 out of 10. There is no rust or paint bubbles on the car. The rear bumper could use a rechrome but looks good.
Everything on the drivetrain works like it is supposed to. The car features the lightweight aluminum block V8. The motor was replaced with a JM code 1963 engine about 25k ago. The two speed automatic works perfectly. New brakes all around. No rust underneath either. The only aftermarket changes are dual electric fans on a switch (I put them on just in case I got stuck in traffic on a hot summer day but the car hasn"t needed them and runs at a solid 190 degrees as it should) and a couple aftermarket guages mounted under the dash (oil, volts and temp) which are easily removed and wouldn"t be noticed if you wanted to return to stock. I just did a time up with all new fluids, spark plugs, wires etc. .
The car comes with probably a thousand dollars worth of extra parts including both front fenders, Windows, and a ton of chrome trim.
Pretty well priced for a good looking, running and driving convertible. Please contact me with any questions. The car is 55 years old so it is sold as is, feel free to come by and check it out before bidding
Title and a ton of original paperwork, manuals and old advertisements in hand.
