Rebuilt 1275cc inline-four that has been bored .020 over and is paired with a 4-speed remote gearbox. The engine is fitted with a 45 DCOE Weber carburetor as well as a custom header and exhaust. A Fireball electronic ignition replaces the original and in the last year a new aluminum radiator has been installed along with a new battery and a Bosch re-manufactured alternator. the car cruises easily at 70 mph. The front brakes have been converted to discs and feature new pads and rotors with new wheel cylinders and shoes installed at the rear. Adjustable front control arms have been fitted to the front and the wheel bearings have been replaced on all four corners. A set of 3" flares have been added to the front and rear to accommodate the 10” Minilight wheels mounted with Yokohama tires. custom dash featuring white-faced VDO gauges, a 3-spoke Mountney steering wheel, and front seats sourced from a BMW 2002. Though mileage is shown at 1,518.3 miles, that number is likely inaccurate given that the speedometer requires re-calibration. Strong engine, no smoke, smooth shifting, solid ride.
