Vehicle description
Vehicle Details DON’T BID IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY! I HAVE HAD TWO BUYERS BACK OUT OF THE SALES BEFORE THEY EVEN SAW THE BUGGY! IT COST’S ME MONEY TO PUT THIS BUGGY UP FOR AUCTION. IT MAKES ME MAD THAT OTHER BIDDERS LOSE THE CHANCE TO OWN THIS GREAT CLASSIC.IF THAT HAPPENS AGAIN, I AM GOING TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST YOU! ! ! THE AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE IS A BINDING CONTRACT, AND THAT CONTRACT IS GOING TO BE ENFORCED! ! ! ! ! THIS IS NOT FAIR TO ME, OR THE REALLY NICE PEOPLE WHO WANT THIS BUGGY. YOUR CONDUCT IS NOT FAIR TO US, AND IT ISN’T GOING TO BE TOLERATED. YOU WILL BE SUED! I’M NOT BLUFFING! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.SHOW CONSIDERATION TO OTHERS! EBAY AGREES.Now, as for the Buggy…No one can foresee the future. No one has a crystal ball. Anything can break on an old classic. That’s why the vehicle is being sold “as is, with no guarantee” I can prove the work that was done, but I can’t tell you what might happen a month or more from now. This Buggy has been serviced and repaired at one of the best repair centers in Florida. They specialize in vintage air-cooled engines. That’s all they do, and they are the best. Upon request they will tell the truth about the condition of this Buggy. I am not related to or work for this place. They will tell you the truth. They would not risk their excellent reputation to help someone sell a vintage Dune Buggy. I will also give you the name of the shop that painted it. They are also the best. This street legal, original 1961 Dune Buggy, with Bluetooth, is a beauty! I want to sell it because I’m too old to enjoy it anymore. It’s 80% restored. It was painted four months ago. The mechanical work was within the last week. The stereo was custom installed, including under the dash speakers with Bluetooth. Everything done on the buggy was by professionals. No shade-tree mechanics. A free car cover and spare parts are included at no extra charge!Ok, here’s the breakdown:1.This is an original 1961 Stinger Dune Buggy. It has a 1600cc dual port engine. 2.The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner in 2015. He used a shop in Orlando, FL. 3.The buggy has a new carburetor, distributor, shocks, master cylinder, brake lines, and new tires. All of this work was done in 2020 and 2021. As stated, this work was done by the best businesses in Brevard County, Florida4.The solenoid is new.5.The brake lines are all new. 6.It has a beautiful new paint job with the highly desirable yellow/orange. Please see the attached photos. 7.The interior is new! The “adjustable” seats, carpet, and steering wheel. Please see the photos.8.All the chrome lights and light wiring is new, and professionally installed. They are beautiful! Please see the photos.9.The exterior chrome bumper and gas hatch are new! There are other buggies on eBay, but none in this shape. You could buy a “project” buggy, but beware! Restoring these buggy’s properly is EXPENSIVE! ! ! Why endure the cost, when you can own this beauty that is ready to go for the summer._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _*Note: the gas gauge does not work. It needs a new float for the fuel tank. There is also a tiny, little drip of oil. It is so small it would take a month to “slightly” affect the oil level. It’s leaking around the seal for the basket. It’s a simple fix, but it is a pain in the neck! ! ! For the hassle, and the fact that it doesn’t really affect the oil level, it’s just not worth it. A new two chamber master cylinder was recently installed. You might see a few drops of fluid until it fully seals. That’s one of those issues for these old cars. Parts, such as master cylinders, etc. where not made as well as today. It’s a new system. It needs to seal. It’s 60 years old. Give it a break, you’ll be leaking a few drops yourself when you get that old. That’s the only problems it has. Images Download the Motors app
