ts time to part with my restoration of 10 years. I have no time for the car and I have lost interest in owning a beetle or hoarding any VW parts for that matter. The car is not getting the attention it deserves and it as well as the parts are currently taking up valuable space. It is an l87 pearl white 1961 rag-top beetle originally purchased at Boston Volkswagen. ( i have its birth certificate. Parts and work are as followed. The car has been professionally media blasted and etch primed there is zero Bondo on this car. Heavy Duty Dansk heater channels were installed By a Volkswagen restoration shop. New heavy duty floor pans were replaced correctly with two coats por15 1 coat chassis cote. New adjustable beam and brakes, creative car-craft fenders and hood, KCR pro street plus trans, widened wide five wheels with new BFG radial ta tires, lots more I"m sure I have missed. I want $4500 for the car with tons of valuable parts That you can resell at swap meets. I used to buy rusty beetles and part out the cars for profit. My asking isn"t half of what I have into the car. I can make arrangements to ship the car as it is a very solid start to a valuable car. the car has not been cut up for the rotary engine I will include an 1835 that needs a rebuild as well as the 36 horse engine block that was in the car if you would like to build a factory car. The car comes with next to no interior I had planned on building a drag car so I only have handles a seat bottom and two scat racing seats that need to be recovered. extra parts include glass, 1 complete dashboard assembly, complete early doors, multiple decklids and original steel fenders in various condition, cylinder heads cases etc. basically, the spare parts are enough to fill a full-size truck bed there are about 9 totes of parts plus body panels. More pictures available upon request. More parts are going with the car than is pictured. Car has not been cut up. Its a steal for what i am asking.
