This car is again for sale due to a buyer who never contacted us even once after using the Buy It Now. Please do NOT buy this car if you don"t plan on following through with your purchase.
Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer for your consideration a 1961 Triumph TR3A. This car is VIN # TS 77144 L with engine number TS 77386E and the 4-speed manual transmission. This car has been in dry storage for the last 25+ years! It is complete and in all-original unrestored condition. It will require extensive bodywork and frame repairs including both floorpans, trunk floor, inner and outer sills (rockers), inner fenders, lower front fender patch panels, rear fender doglegs, rear deck panels, battery box, bulkhead and firewall, and door skins, etc. The frame is in poor to fair overall condition with considerable heavy surface rust, scale and rust-through in several areas, most notably under the driver’s side floorpan and seat. The engine is free and turns over readily, but has not been started or run for many years. It does include the convertible top frame assembly and side curtains in original condition. TITLE : Please note that we do NOT have a title for the car. It will be sold with a bill of sale only. EBay makes us fill in a title category, so this listing says "rebuilt" but there is NO title. SHIPPING : Buyer must make all shipping and transportation arrangements. We will assist in anyway that we can to facilitate process. This car rolls very freely for easy pick up. Please remind your car hauler that this is a small sportscar and therefore it has a narrower track than most contemporary vehicles so it must be moved with a flatbed trailer or a car trailer with narrow wheel rails (or the car fall in between).
