Vehicle description
1961 Studebaker Lark VIII, 4 door, station wagon. Paint is as close to Apache Red as I could get and it is like glass, original body including rockers, hood, front and rear fenders, all doors were replaced with rust free used, tailgate and front apron were replaced with NOS only because it was cheaper than fixing the original, floors are solid, only one patch where the heal of you drivers side right foot would rest, front and rear bumpers and bumperettes, grill and all insignia chrome is NOS, new 14" rims and tires, I wanted a different stance, rear springs are HD taxi cab springs NOS, front windshield is tinted, does have a couple wiper marks, all side glass is good, rear tailgate window glass is good. headliner is in good condition but will either need to be replaced, cleaned or vinyl painted, the rest of the interior had been removed for reupholstering, including the carpet, you will need to redo the seats and buy a carpet kit and install, I have all the new door panels for you, c drivers side door for quality of look, new dual exhausts, the radiator has been recored, this car ran down the road 70+ mph before I started the restoration, it ran really good, could use a tapit adjustment, the brakes were completely redone, the carburetor was rebuilt along with the distributor, the car has been sitting inside my semi heated shop for awhile, I would plan on going thru the brakes, fuel and electrical systems, it will need a battery, there are a few chips and nicks from putting it back together but I have the paint stored in my house for your use. The last vehicle I sold on ebay ended up getting damaged by the shipper when they came to pick it up. Please plan on picking this vehicle up yourself and I will help load. If you should have any further questions please text me at (419)343 6879. Storage is not a problem, within reason, $500 non refundable deposit within 7 days of auction ending.
