This Beautiful Garage kept vehicle has recently been purchased from the family Estate of the deceased Second owner, The Family of the Estate informed us that the owner purchased this Beautiful Silver Cloud II to add to his Collection in Germany During the 70"s And Traveled with it mainly on the streets of Paris, France from time to time and abroad while working as a Research Scientist for Deadly Diseases for Most of his Years throughout Europe,
As Time Went on he shipped the Vehicle to the United States where he later Resided, Records Show us him registering the Vehicle in NJ & FL And elsewhere, Records Also Show the Vehicle being Insured for most of its years, while also handling the maintenance of the vehicle at Mercedes-Benz Dealerships.
The Body of the Car is in Nice Shape with Great lines, The Chrome is Also in nice shape considering the years and the amount of travel across the world with this vehicle.
The Leather Interior Seems to be in original Shape,
The Interior Wood is In Surprisingly Great condition which leads us to believe the wood May have been restored over the years, However, We can not confirm that. .
The car has been driven around the neighborhood from where it is being stored at as of now in Clearwater, FL. It is in Running And Driving Condition, The Transmission Shifts well and the 6.2 L V8 Engine Sounds wonderful.
We Believe the Drive-train to be completely original.
The Under carriage is in very good condition with no MAJOR rust. Glass is not cracked, Felts in fair condition, etc. .
The Following is in Working Order. .
Head Lights, Turn Signals Trunk Light, Gauges,
Horn, Window Wipers, Radio, Heater Blower Motor,
Power Brakes, Power Steering,
Good Battery. New Kelly P235/75R15 White Wall Tires.
The Clock would need to be looked at as it is not working,
We Have not tried to have the clock repaired,
And it is also worth mentioning that the temperature gauge rose slightly after driving in the neighborhood for some-time, Our Mechanic believes it may need to have the water pump rebuilt or replaced, Vehicle DID NOT overheat.
Overall, This Vehicle is in Wonderful condition but is worth mentioning that it is not perfect, as it has Paint Imperfections, Minor Dings in the Bumpers, The Interior Being Faded, Etc.
