1961 Rambler Classic 8 Rare car only 2156 models produced in Super Trim. Original owner was George Tallian, Sound man for Paramount Studios who worked for Cecil B. DeMille. California car, purchased at Hollywood Rambler. Excellent body, not rusted at all. Runs and drives. Car has many rare options: Solex (tinted) Window glass, air conditioning, power steering, self-adjusting brakes, split reclining front seats, 250 V8 engine 200 HP, push button automatic transmission, radio, clock, front seat belts, custom exterior rear view mirror .
This is practically a new car with the following major work recently completed: Transmission Rebuilt Brake system overhaul, new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hoses, brake lines and silicone brake fluid installed. New Coker wide whitewall tires New Front wheel bearings Idler Arm bushings replaced Left upper Trunnion replaced Left and Right Axle shafts replaced New water pump New Power Steering Pump New Distributor Carburetor Rebuilt Valve Seals, rocker arms and valve springs replaced New Radiator Gas tank cleaned Countless small parts replaced, neutral safety switch, cancel cam, horn relay etc etc. This car needs the following: Possible right Trunnion Air Conditioning Compressor main seal and AC clutch Windshield Seal Replacement The paint is not original and is also not the original color.
