Here"s a great get in it and go "61 Fury ht. Starts, drives, stops great! It was 107 here today and I ran it down the freeway at 75 and the temp gauge was still below 1/2. Rebuilt 318 engine, rebuilt torqueflite trans, new Moog ball joints, strut bushings, drag link. all new brakes using raybestos parts. New dual exhaust system. Recored radiator. Every thing works as it should right down to the clock, Jiffy Jet, radio, heat defrost, speedo, door locks all lights including trunk light. Drive shaft serviced, rear and front axle/ wheel bearings repacked. Lovely original interior with only the front seat being recovered with NOS fabrics from SMS. Window tracks and regulators have been cleaned and greased. the original window sweepers are still pretty nice. NOS gold grill emblem and the two inner headlamp bezels are NOS. Some stainless trim has been straightened and polished. BEAUTIFUL PIT FREE chrome pot metal trim throughout. Most of the original weatherstrip is still as new. Original trunk mat. original jack.
One thing I did not get done is to replace the windshield. has a small crack down low dead center. There is a company in Oregon that sells new ones here on ebay for around 450.00 and I will refund the cost of the new windshield to the buyer. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of installation and shipping.
Paint is mostly original except an old repair mid drivers side 1/4. from looking at the inside of the 1/4 it was a small dent. Perfect floors. Perfect trunk floor. minor localized rust in right front fender lower and a small area on the right 1/4 near the door. Rest of the body is rock solid.
Recently went through this car end to end to make a fun patina driver without regard for expense. Everything that has been done has been top quality. . Due to circumstances I must let it go.
Currently licensed and insured with a clear title in my name.
