Vehicle description

Seller"s Notes 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible – This is a project car – the engine runs, however, the clutch cylinder is dry, so you will need to bring a trailer. The oil has been recently changed and it does have a new battery. This vehicle is in Portland, OR. The buyer is responsible for delivery. Please note the payment terms are cash, cashier’s check, or PayPal – I will NOT accept a wire transfer. See notes below. . Exterior 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible – The back story is that this is a one family owned Metro. Purchased on January 29, 1961 at California Drive Rambler in Burlingame California by my father. This car was a California only Car until 2015 when I had it transported to Portland Oregon. The car comes with the original Sales Order Receipt, the original California Black Plates, and all but one of the California DMV registration cards from 1961 through 2011 (last year registered in California). This car has not been driven in at least 5 years. The car now has a clean Oregon title. This is a project car – the engine runs, however, the clutch cylinder is dry, so you will need to bring a trailer. The oil has been recently changed and it does have a new battery. The good – this car is unmolested having the original stock engine and transmission. It has only 73,846 original miles on it. The convertible top is in decent shape and comes with an additional top in a box. The bad – as previously mentioned, the clutch cylinder is dry. At some point my father put in an aluminum floorboard, so I presume there is floorboard rust. Once again, I would consider this a project car as the paint is very worn, upholstery is worn, and some of the trim pieces are either cracked or broken. Please note the payment terms are cash, cashier’s check, or PayPal – I will NOT accept a wire transfer. Please feel free to ask any questions, I will try to answer as quickly as I can. Thanks!
