Here we offer for sale a fun and rare variation of a classic British car that exemplifies proper British style. Designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, the Morris Minors have sort of a "friendly" shape like a VW Beetle, or like the other car that Issigonis designed - the Mini Cooper. Being a truck version, this Minor is a rare variation that was built by Morris for commercial use.
The exterior is finished in a two tone green color scheme. The body looks like a Morris Minor Series III coupe with a truck bed in place of the back portion of the car that has been lopped off. A simple yet effective solution for a small vehicle to transport goods in. All the trim and ancillaries are there and in good condition, and a wood floor makes up the truck bed. The paint looks to be an older repaint in a color very similar to the original green.
Once inside this pickup truck, the small but practical cab is finished with grey trim, including a pair of grey seats. The simple dashboard features a large speedometer and added auxiliary gauges, one of which is a small tach. The dashboard is color matched to the exterior which gives a splash of color to the interior and follows along the line of this car being "friendly".
As you might expect, under the small hood is a small engine. A 948cc inline-4 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission to be precise. This is a fun variation of an iconic British classic. Whether you use it to haul things or just cruise around town in it, you"re sure to be the only one around who has one! Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
