1961 Mercedes Benz 190SL with only 60,889 miles. This is a beautiful example of a three owner with original miles, not indicated on title. The car was delivered to the first owner through the European delivery program and was driven on vacation before being imported to the US. The original owner subsequently shipped the car back to Europe several years later for another vacation, and documented all service and maintenance history. This is all documented in the original service booklet, both US and European.
With approximately 2,000 miles on a beautiful mechanical and cosmetic restoration, this car is finished in Dunkelgrun, (Dark Green). The interior is outfitted with Bamboo, (Tan), leather. There are two tops, soft and hard. It is powered by a freshly tuned 1.9L 4 cylinder engine with a four speed manual transmission. All service is up to date. The vintage Mercedes Benz SL"s are rising in popularity and value as well. They are getting harder and harder to find nice examples such as this one. With the rising of value of the 300SL"s, the older brother, the 190SL"s are poised to rise significantly in value in the years to come.
