Up for sale is our 1961 Chevy c10 pick up truck we have been using around my dads farm driving on short trips to the trout streams and around the back dirt roads here in Northeast Iowa. This truck has a 6 cyl in it (i am guessing a 235) it runs strong and starts right up everytime I used it. This truck has a 4 speed on the floor which is a blast to drive . It has decent brakes ( they stop the truck fine for my country roads but it is a one or two pump stype thing to really make it stop well) I had the truck up to all 4 gears and 45 mph area and it ran and drove well . In saying that it is unrestored etc. I have only used it again on short tips and to make it a true drive anywhere truck, I would replace the tires (the ones on it are okay and hold air but are older/ weather checked) I would still update the belts, go through it generally and update the wires etc as they look older original etc. Definitely usable in my opinion the way it is now while you tinker with it update it etc. The body looks really solid. I left the original patina and did a clear coat to preserve and shine the paint. I left the orignal dings/ dents/ paint etc as I like the original look and you can see what you are starting with if you elect to repaint /restore. The floors were replaced at one time with steel. The bed wood is there but there are spots where it rotted etc and should have a new bed kit. The frame looks really solid. There is a crack in the windshield and the driver side vent window is missing. The rest of the glass looks great and the windows roll up and down but are stiff. I have a clean and clear title. I do not want to over call this c10 or under call it, watch the video and check out the pics and call me with any questions 563 568 1186. This truck has patina and a cool old truck look to die for. Tinker and play with it while you take it to whatever level you want! I am setting this auction as a no reserve high bid owns to let the market dictate the value.
