(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it"s possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.)
Large cars of the "60"s with their flowing lines, and luxurious interiors represent a special time in America"s history as well as the Auto Industry"s history. Taking design cues from airplanes and rockets, the cars became statement pieces in the owners driveways as many American vehicles were world class luxury cars competing with the likes of the Europeans and their exotic materials and names. We"re excited to offer this beautiful Buick LeSabre convertible for your consideration. This is a classic that has been well cared for and comes with a large amount of documentation including the original Bill of Sale that was written up in April of 1961.
This "top of the heap" LeSabre boasts the optional 401ci V8 engine which offered plenty of power to get this big luxury car to board meetings or the beach. Among the many luxury options on this particular LeSabre, the power convertible top and power windows combine to make enjoying the outdoors a little easier. Can you imagine taking the large top back all by yourself? Sure it can be done, but it"s not the easiest bit of material to gracefully fold back. Sweeping chrome trim that offers both hard angles and soft curves envelops the exterior of the car. The exterior of the car has been well cared for and is still finished in the original color of Tampico Red (code VV1) capped with a black convertible top. A new coat of paint was added recently which shows very well and displays nice gloss throughout.
A bright color combination like this LeSabre"s Red over red interior isn"t something that we would see on new vehicles today, but boy does it look great on this car. There"s just enough contrast from the chrome trim, and a few black accent stripes throughout the interior to break up all that red. The interior was refurbished in 2010 and among the highlights are a Sonomatic Radio, off-white faced ribbon-style speedometer, large chrome trimmed steering wheel, and safety belts.
Own a piece of American car history with this awesome LeSabre. It"s finished in the original Red over Red, has a 401ci V8 under the hood, and comes with plenty of service records to thumb through. Admire that beautiful jet inspired exterior of this statement car from the "60"s. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.

Our international exposure allows us to sell cars across the globe, and we sell a majority of them out of state and overseas. We deliver honesty and consistency in our photos and descriptions, a “no surprise” approach, so buyers, both near and far, can invest with confidence sight unseen. We are not a gallery. Vehicles can be seen locally by appointment as potential buyers are given our undivided attention. Garage Kept Motors, LLC specializes in classic and specialty online auto sales.
