Vehicle description
This is a classic Mercedes that my late husband purchased off of Craigslist in 2018 with the intent of restoring it, but passed away before he was able to do so. I know very little about this vehicle other than what you can see in the pictures I"ve posted, which is why I am offering it for much less than what my husband paid. When the car was delivered to us in September 2018, the seller was able to start the engine and drive it a short distance into our garage, but I cannot represent with certainty that it will still run today, as it has been sitting in our garage since then. Again, I am asking very little for this car because I know very little about it and cannot make any representations as to its condition or pedigree.
This is no doubt a great buy for someone who wants to try their hand at restoration. Some light flaking of paint (see pictures) and some interior repair needed to the front seat, but upholstery is in great condition for its age. As far as I know, the engine is in working order, though I cannot represent it as such due to my lack of knowledge of cars in general and this car in particular.
I am requesting that the successful bidder arrange to have the car picked up within 7 days of the close of auction. As a reminder, bidding is tantamount to entering into a contract for purchase; please do not bid on the car unless you intend to complete the sale.
