PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE ADD BEFORE CLICKING BUY IT NOW! I am listing this car for a family I am friends with, it belonged to the family"s father. I am a mechanic, however I am by no means an expert with Jaguars. Here"s what I can tell you, the car spent the last 28 years inside a little garage under a house outside of Houston Texas, until 2 weeks ago when I made the trip up to the house and was asked to help sell the car. The car is currently at my shop here in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Other then airing the tires up, pulling the plugs and squirting some penetrating oil down the cylinders, I have done nothing to start the vehicle. The engine turns over freely and feels like it hits compression on every stroke as it should. I am told the vehicle was last driven around 1989, when it was parked to do a full restoration. As you can tell life got in the way and the restoration never took place. What you see is what you get, I do have whats left of the interior pieces, and they will be included with the car. I have had the car in the air and the frame looks very straight. There is some bubbling around the windshield, and small dings, but overall the body appears very straight and solid. Transmission shifts into every gear fine, and clutch appears to work good. We are currently trying to locate the title for the car! We are not sure the last time it was registered, so the DMV has been no help. I will write the buyer a Bill Of Sale and have it notarized. The husbands wife does remember seeing the title, many years ago, at this point its just a matter of finding it. Car will be available for pick up after 12/28 when I return home from the Christmas Holiday. We will require payment by 3 days of auction end, of the buyers choice, the car is listed to sell quickly to settle an estate tying several people up that want it over and done with. I will assist the buyer in loading the car in anyway possible that I can, it rolls and steers freely. Questions are encouraged and can be answered day or night. We strongly believe we have priced the car right to sell quickly, and are hoping to be able to settle this part of the estate while the entire family is together during the holiday.
