About this vehicle This 1960 Ford Thunderbird is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Rust repairs and bodywork were done by myself. When the car was put in my shop, there was very little rust and a few dents that were professionally pulled, straightened and hammered. The hood suffered the most rust damage, and those areas were cut out and welded. These hoods are prone to rust in the nose area, due to the hood scoop actually being wide open. Vehicle Details 1960 Thunderbird full custom. 352 FE with 3 speed automatic. Runs and drives great. Has been on trips well over 400 miles recently. Air bag suspension front and rear. Back and front, no side to side. Sail panel emblems have been welded and shaved, hood emblems welded and shaved. Fender medallions and mirrors welded and shaved. Frost blue metallic paint with light micro metal flake. Roof is Glacier blue metallic paint with heavy jumbo metal flake. This car has been driven often, and is now a driver quality car that turns heads EVERYWHERE it goes. Take it to car shows, or just cruise. Motor and trans are strong as is the 9" rear. Rear end is triangulated 4 link, with panhard bar. Front suspension is air springs in place of factory coils. 4 way factory power drum brakes that work great. Upgrades are up to you. Ignition is HEI. New Edelbrock 650. Factory cooling with added electric fans on a switch, in case you hit traffic. Dual Smithys exhaust, that sounds perfect and old school. Car is currently sitting on Torq thrust 2 wheels 17" wheel tire combo. If the buyer wants the 18" Black moons, I can negotiate, but they do not go with the car.
