Vehicle description
1960 Ford Fairlane 500 4 door sedan Mayberry Clone Being a Clone Mayberry car it has fun written all over it! Buy it and be the hit of every show you do. I think you will have more fun in this that any car you have ever had.
The car is in very good shape. I think it has just over 100 thousand miles (if the speedo is correct). It has seat belts in the front only, nice headliner and the interior is in very good shape (see photos). This car appears to be rust free (see the photos of the bottom of the car). We installed a new gas tank and sending unit, because it had been left in storage for several years. We did a complete service and tuneup including new spark plug wires, with plugs and rebuilt Carbuator. The Air condition blows cold and looks be be a dealer add on air condition unit. It does not have power steering or brakes. Transmission is what they call three on a tree, 3 speed column shift. It has dummy none working spot lights. This Mayberry car has a working bubble gum light on the roof, and working siren which is controlled by a dimmer switch on the floor next to the light dimmer switch. The none working whip antenna and none working Motorola radio are just for show. The car has a working intercom with a microphone that you can talk thru and it has different sounds you can make by pushing the buttons, and the old original dash radio works. I am including the Mayberry front windshield shade with purchase of the car.
