1960 original paint Ford F100 4x4 pickup.
This truck has a running V8 engine in it that we believe is original.
It starts up and runs great every time !
This truck is a factory four wheel drive and a very good restoration candidate.
The frame is really solid on it and the front and rear end looks super solid as well.
The previous owner did some minor patch panel work to the floors as well as some of the body mounts and then coated with Por-15 in certain areas.
The truck does have some small rust repair needed in a few more places but for a 1960 F100 it looks pretty solid !
We recently cruised this old girl around and took it down the highway and back a few times this weekend. We have decided to let a few of our most cherished items go to pay for some other restorations we are doing and this truck is one of them !
This old pickup is super fun to drive and always gets a ton of attention. And believe it or not the radio works great !
We did notice that when we checked the oil when we bought this truck that it was a greyish in color. That can mean a few things. Either it has excess fuel getting through or it might possibly need a head gasket, intake manifold gasket, or engine rebuild at some point in time. It has not given us any mechanical issues though since we have had it so i think she will run a lot longer before any repairs will probably be needed but we thought that was worth mentioning to the new buyer / bidders. This truck starts up every time and idles and runs super strong with tons of power.
