Vehicle Details 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne, originally a 6-cylinder 3 on the tree. Somewhere in the 70's it was turned into a drag car/streetcar. They put 327 Muncie 4-speed and 12 bolt posi track rear-end. In 2016 it was started to be freshened up. The body had new floor pans,inner/outer rocker panels, trunck floor pan, trunk drops and lower quarter panels. The bodywork was done and car was painted in a 2 tone paint scheme. Main body was a titanium pearl and the upper in a pepper brown. The hood in satin black. All the original bright work was reused and has few dings in the trim. But very nice for being original. The 327/375 HP was completely rebuilt. The fuelly cylinder heads that were ported back in the day, were refurbished. A new comp soild lifter cam shift with .477 gross lift. The offenhauser Port Sonic intake was reused along with the Holly 600 CFM carb. It has a new Mini Starter MSD ignition system shorty headers to a new side exhaust. It has a cold ram air system and a hot air vent in the hood. The T-10 Muncie 4-speed has a new 11 inch clutch with a Hurst competition shifter. The 12 bolt 30 splined rear-end has a new Yukon diff with 3.73 gear. A new dual pot manual master cylinder, all new brake lines and hoses. A front disc brake conversion kit and rear drum brakes have been gone through. It still has manual steering and some new components in the steering and suspension. It has lowering springs, new shocks, wheels and tires with Hurst cheater slicks. The battery has been moved to the trunk. The interior was redone in the past. It has some modern bucket seats installed, could use a new headliner but what's in it is driver quality. I recently had new carpet and auto meter gouges installed. It doesn't have the right sending unit for the fuel gage. But, I have purchased the correct one. Overall, the interior is very presentable. The original glass and trim were retained. There is a small ding on the trim above the windshield. The windshield has a small rock chip by the a pillar. The wing windows are cracked. The paint has a few rock chips and scratches. The engine has a little over 3 thousand miles on it. This car retains a lot of it's old school style with some modern upgrades. This car has atleast $30k worth of parts and labor in it. But you don't always get the money that you put in it back. But I'm am selling this car for a very reasonable price. Serious Buyers only please! Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
