Vehicle description

Up for auction with a low reserve is an absolutely gorgeous 1960 Biscayne that gets looks everywhere it goes. Very straight bright red body, all jambs, firewall and even the inside of fenders are nicely painted. Just about everything on this car has been detailed out with a great attention.
Big block 468 with Comp Cams Thumpr Cam, Aluminum C-66 2x4 Edelbrock intake topped with two four barrel Edelbrock carbs. Fenderwell exit headers with mean sounding dual exhaust. MSD distributor and 6AL box with Moroso plug wires and a Sun tach. Motor stays very cool with big Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fan and custom aluminum fan shroud. Also has aluminum water pump and billet overflow expansion tank. Motor is backed by a built 4speed trans, Hurst shifter with classic white know, Lakewood blow proof bellhousing and narrowed QTP 9" posi rear. American Racing Torquetrust D wheels all around. Deep lip wheels with 275/60R15 BFGs on the rear. For a big body car it handles excellent on the street, tight power steering with coil overs and and disc brakes up front and lowering springs, air shocks and adjustable tubular panhard bar in the rear. Just had the car checked out by a local shop to make sure everything is good to go for the new owner, put it on the dyno and made 327rwhp / 425 rwtq (dyno sheet attached).
All new glass in the car with new seals and weatherstripping, windows all function nice and tight. Original stainless trim has all been straightened and redone in a brushed finish that looks killer. Grey interior shows nicely overall with great looking grey headliner and sunvisors, carpet is showing some wear but still looks good. Nice sounding stereo system with custom sub in the trunk. The presentation of the car speaks for itself in the below videos.

The car shows extremely well but there are a few small items worth noting. Currently topped off with a fresh tank of 93 but the fuel gauge is not properly working. The speedo works but floats back and forth about 15mph on the highway (rope likely worn). Car does not have an ebrake, never posed an issue for me but just wanted to bring it to the attention of the new owner.
Clean and clear NC title in my name and ready for a new owner. Not looking for any trades unless it"s a 59 El Camino, 68-72 Nova or something old with an LS / LT swap.
Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I have a local shipper that I can recommend that ships very reasonable anywhere in the lower 48.
