Vehicle description
This is a one of a kind! Manufactured for two years only- IT"S RARE. PRICE REDUCED!
A 1959 Studebaker Lark Wagon, fully equipped with a 327 small block Chevrolet engine, a TH350 Turbo Automatic Transmission and a Ford 8inch rear end. It"s ready to cruise! Adjustable front seats! Great Spare tire in the back under trunk floor along with jack.
Recently had top-end of motor rebuilt, the hood repainted, and the transmission serviced. This car was built 8 years ago but still shines and drives like new!
Want to pull a small camper trailer? This Studebaker is set up with rear airbags for towing, and a towing package underneath the flip up license plate!
Carpet kit was custom made a few years ago. Front bucket seats are out of a 1970"s Honda. Dash and rear-seat are upholstered to match. The rear seat folds down to transform the car into a delivery. It"s big enough to sleep two as well.
Door handles have been shaved and open via key fob. Windows have been converted to electric. Spare tire is located under the rear decking- has never been used and is still in great shape!
CONS: some small TLC needed. Speedometer doesn"t work. Electric windows should be adjusted slightly (might get these fixed before sale). Wood paneling on interior could use a spruce up.
PROS: No oil leaks, good oil pressure, only 50,000 miles on fully-rebuilt engine. Headliner is in perfect shape. It turns lots of heads and you will constantly be getting thumbs up as you cruise by.
