This is a killer Hot Rod Surf Wagon that is ready to have fun today! It is a beautiful 1959 Plymouth Suburban 9 Passenger Station Wagon RestoMod. Christine"s younger sister can be driven anywhere and is alot friendlier than the Fury in Stephen King"s movie. It cruises fine at 70 MPH and everybody loves it. The car was rotisserie restored in 2007. I have pictures of it when it was down to the bare frame. It is not perfect but still shows very well. You could not come close to building it for this price. The car is very straight. The undercarriage is excellent. The paint is very nice. There are some flaws however as it was built almost 15 years ago and has been enjoyed. There are some minor cracks in the paint on the hood. The car is completely rust free except for a few minor bubbles on the rear corners on top of the drip rails on the roof.
It is now powered by a GM Small Block 350 crate motor connected to a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. It has power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, and Vintage Air Conditioning. Brand new Edelbrock carburetor, new chrome valve covers and gaskets, aluminum radiator. Nice stereo, new Lokar shifter, brand new 17 inch Cragar SS wheels with new BFG tires. Like new interior. The second seat folds down. The third seat is rear facing and is also removable if you want to haul your surfboards. The power tailgate window works like new from the rear key switch or from the switch under the dash. This is an awesome car and you probably won"t see another one like it. You see a 1955, 1956, or 1957 Chevy Bel Air at every show and they are awesome. But when was the last time you saw one of these? Turnkey, extremely clean, and ready to enjoy. You will have a hard time finding a better classic for the money. It draws a crowd and picture takers everywhere you take it. Clean, clear California title in hand.
I would consider doing some horsetrading on an interesting Corvette, Camaro, Muscle Car, or a steel body Hot Rod. Please be realistic with your trades. Just because you don"t want your junk any more doesn"t mean that I do either. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Inspections in person are encouraged.
