1959 NSU Prinz. 2-Door Sedan.
A genuine rust free California Car.
Very rare.
In 1959, Only 1500 units were imported into the US, so very few still exist today.
This one has had a really nice restoration done here in Southern California with a few sensible upgrades.
Runs and drives very well with about 400 test miles since restoration.
Here are some of the features and upgrades: · A Quality 2-stage Paint application. Stripped to Bare Metal, Color Sanded & Buffed.
· All bright trim has either been replaced with new pieces, re-plated, or polished.
· Engine and 4-speed Transmission have been serviced and resealed.
· Clutch serviced with new throw-out bearing.
· All new rubber weather-stripping for windshield, back & side glass with window tracks and door seals.
· Complete Brake system has been serviced and with new master cylinder.
· Steering system has been serviced with new parts, as needed.
· All electrical components & wiring have been serviced with no issues.
· Brand New Coker bias ply tires, correct for this car. 1250 x 12.
· New Muffler and stainless exhaust tips, both factory correct replacements.
· Complete New Upholstery Interior that includes Dyna Mat insulation, professionally installed carpet, & Seats.
· Factory Radio delete car with rare Original Radio Delete Plate.
· Dyna-Start system serviced with new brushes and misc. as needed.
· Upgraded Hall Effect ignition system installed. Included is the original point setup if you want to convert it back to original.
· Honorable mention -
Rare Aluminum valve cover installed, instead of the common stamped steel cover.
New front signal assemblies.
Engine has had a major service. New Fuel Pump. Valve adjustment. Solex carburetor.
Odometer shown miles may or may not be actual mileage on vehicle, it"s unverified.
