This classic 1959 Nash Metropolitan could be your every day driver and a real head turner plus the 40 miles per gallon makes it extremely economical. This beauty has won many car shows and is fun to drive and is in great shape. Paint is in great condition with red and white being the most popular color made. The 1959 Metro was made famous when Walt Disney drove his read and white Metro to work each day. He even put Minnie Mouse in a 59 red and with Metro convertible. The 59 Met was the first year model with the rear trunk like a regular car. All the years before had no trunk, unless you wanted to pull down the back seat to access the storage area. Making this model so much easier to go to the store etc, my first Met was a 54 and I found out the hard way about the trunk. This model has a 1500 cc engine making it peppier than earlier models. These cars were built in England on the Austin-Healey production line and then imported to the USA. This car has been completely gone thru and is in the perfect running condition. Upholstery is good needs a new headliner which a new one will be included in the price. Also included is a California classic car cover.
