Vehicle description
1959 Morris Minor Traveller. It needs full restoration. It needs a new wood kit, rust repair on the floors. It has a Datsun engine 1600 in it and it runs. The engine sounds pretty good. 4 speed Datsun transmission. The brakes need new wheel cylinders, which I have but have not installed them. I actually drive this car around my property (pump the brakes like crazy to get it to stop). It would not take much for someone to make it a daily driver. BUT, you are buying this little car with the understanding it needs everything. I don"t want a phone call after the sale telling me you found something I had not mentioned or described. I like 100% feedback. So if you have questions, I will take pictures if I can, and answer them the best I can. It comes with the original transmission laying in the car. The body as far as the doors, fenders, hood are nice shape. I replaced the hinges so they are new. Doors open and shut like they should. It"s an original black car. The tires do not hold air. The choke on the engine does not engage properly. So, to start, I close the choke manually, start the car, and wait for it to warm up. The rust in the floors has been patched by someone that had no idea what he was doing. The front seats are not original to the car. They did not do a good job putting them in so you will need to adjust them. There is no back seat. It"s gone and they have put plywood over the floor to make it flat so they could haul things. For the cost of this little car it"s a cheap way to get into a little Woody and fix it as you get the money. You will never lose money on this investment. $500 by PayPal at the close of the auction and a wire transfer within 3 days after the close for the remaining balance. No games! You can pick it up or have it shipped. You are paying for whatever means of transportation you arrange. I will help load the car and it can sit here for a couple weeks till you pick it up. Again, full restoration. Plan for the worst so you aren"t disappointed when you get it.
