Vehicle description
1959 Messerschmitt KR200 Barn Find up for auction. I"ve decided to sell it exactly as is rather than start the restoration on it. There was some debate on whether to even replace the floorpan and get the motor turning but have decided against it and is coming to you exactly as it was found. I"ve done my best with the photos to depict the car and have also made a 10 minute YouTube vlog, https:/ youtu.be/Wd37O0FRpO8 , of every possible angle I could think of. Besides the obvious of what the car needs, I"ve made a short list of what I do know about it. The video should answer a lot of the questions and address most issues. Please use provided photos as well as the video to assess your own judgement regarding the vehicle.
1. The second digit of the VIN on the rear frame is covered up however, the rest match on both front and rear reading 64985. 2. The best I can tell, the odometer reading is 19? ? True miles are unknown. 3. There is no title. I am the owner of this vehicle and will provide a bill of sale. 4. All three wheels do roll but they do bind up during rotation. 5. The windshield is in good overall condition minus the small chip shown. I believe it can be polished out or masked once the outer rubber is installed. 6. There is no bubble top, windows, nor any other parts to the vehicle other than what is shown.
This auction is set for 10 days at NO RESERVE. A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours. The remaining payment is due in cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been made with me beforehand. This vehicle will be relisted if these terms cannot be met. I will do everything within reason to work with your shipper (if needed) or can accommodate nearly any pick up/inspection times from my storage facility located in NW Houston. All customs fees, taxes, crating fees, transport fees, etc., are solely the buyers responsibility. This vehicle must be picked up, no exceptions. I do not deliver.
