Vehicle description
Questions are welcome.
This pickup has a 2-ton rated bed with a dual-piston hydraulic dump system installed by Ford. Full bed rail system included, increasing the height of the bedrail to greater than 4 feet, with manual grain gate. Also includes removable motorcycle front wheel brace. Bed tilts to 40°+ Original engine/carburetor and drivetrain, new brakes and shocks, supplemental leaf springs, tires (8) and 5 rims (90s wheels which fit the original stud pattern, painted to match the truck) and chrome dress rings. Hydraulic system is electrically pumped through large retention tank, switch inside cab on floor next to drivers door. All glass is original and undamaged, seals all replaced (except as noted regarding the door glass and window guides) Has the expected small oil leaks, runs/drives/stops very well, smooth 4-speed transmission. Radiator should be replaced. Exact fit available in aluminum, with auxiliary fan optional. No power steering or AC. Intended to move gas tank to frame rails above rear axle and install aftermarket AC and radio/CD. No cuts into the dashboard, all original. Bought new window flashing (not installed). Aftermarket high-volume airhorn installed. Original was very weak. Because of the pandemic, the funding for the full rebuild and restoration has disappeared. Planned a body-off cleaning and powdercoat of the frame, full strip of existing paint and repaint with higher quality than original, as body is very straight and requires only small amount of work (dent in drivers side rear). The rear bumper is cast iron. No tow package
