Vehicle description
Up for bid is my 1959 Edsel Ranger. It is a 4 door sedan and has been customized.
The car has been lowered, not by cutting the front coils, but by using Ford Aerostar
front springs and 3" lowering blocks in the rear. The grille has been modified,
hood has been peaked and filled. Door handles have been shaved and filled,
rear corners have been molding as has the trunk lip moulding. The rear of the car has been modified and now has 1959 Chevrolet Impala rear tail lights, and the rear bumper have been replaced with a set of front ones. The car has 14" chrome
steelies on black wall tires. Up til the transmission started to have issues, it was a driver. The engine is tired and will need a rebuild. There is no carpet, and the seats are the original ones the car left the factory with. The headliner is the original as well. Body work was done on the car over 20 years ago on the rear 1/4s and there is some
blistering that will have to be repaired. Floors are solid. Trunk has some mild issues as seen in the pics, but by no means is a full on replacement. Rockers have some dents but are rust free. Fenders are solid and rust free. The top has some rust issues near the rain gutters, a skilled body man should be able to fix this.
Included in the sale is an extra trunk, driver"s side rear door, and an extra hood. It is UNIQUE and RARE. Always turns heads. Either rebuild the engine/trans or score a FE, a Windsor small block.
If need be, please send a message and more pics will be provided. Car does start up and does drive. If you are hoping to win the auction and drive her home, well, that is not advised.
Good Luck and Happy Biddin"!
