1950 Chevrolet Fleetline

I purchased this car from an estate. The previous owner had started the restoration, the car is lightly sanded and the interior removed. The brake master cylinder is partially removed and some detail work has been done.
Body. . The body is exceptional. The interior floors trunk floor spare tire well rocker panels, 1/4 panels and front fenders are all excellent. The body is very straight. The glass is all in place and all the windows go up and down. The chrome needs to be redone, the car comes with fender skirts. The car needs to be repainted for restoration or is fine as a rat rod. Included are 2 of the hubcaps and the proper rims to accept the factory styled wheel covers.
Mechanical. . It starts and runs well, but the brake master cylinder needs to be replaced so the brakes are not working. It will need exhaust work and a battery. The tires on the car are dry rotted and will not hold air I will install correct rims and tires for shipping.
Interior. . The interior needs to be restored the seats and door panels are included, but are in poor condition, the dash is complete and has not been drilled or modified, it has the original radio and controls.
Over All. . This car is an excellent starting point for a restoration or hot rod. The body is exceptional and the car is as far as I can tell complete. I had planned on making a rat rod out of it but I just don"t have the time with other car projects ahead of it. If your looking for a simple and rewarding winter project that doesn"t involve a huge amount of body work or money invested then this may be the car for you. I am selling this car unreserved with a very low starting bid because I"m serious about selling it.
