Texas Best Used Motorcycles 817.985.8888 2850 N Main, Mansfield, Texas 76063 Open Tues-Sat from 9:00am-6:00pm DESCRIPTION You are looking at a very clean 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air, the motor is a 235 I6 with a three speed manual on the colum. The paint is 15 plus years old and was done right, the colors are original. The seats are original, the carpet and head liner was replaced. They painted the inner fender wells gloss black and the fire wall was repainted. The I6 motor is the weak link, it idles and runs smooth, it clatters when under a load, once in third gear it cruises right along. I noticed a bottle of lead additive in the trunk, it is most likely the original motor, it would be a great candidate for an LS motor install, the engine bay is already very nice. The tires were recently replaced by discount tire with life time balance. This is a very sharp car with a great adjustable stance. It has two small scrapes on the right front fender and a small touched up spot on the drivers side tail fin. There is no over spray on this car, the moldings and trim all fit right, the door jams are clean, the trunk is unfinished, it needs a mat and some clean up. It has front disc brakes, a power booster would be a good add.
