1959 CADILLAC SEDAN DEVILLE The Cadillac DeVille was originally a trim level and later a separate model produced by Cadillac. The name "DeVille" is derived from the French de la ville or de ville meaning "of the town". The 1959 Cadillac is remembered for its iconic huge tailfins with dual bullet tail lights. The new model year also saw two distinctive rooflines and roof pillar configurations, new jewel-like grille patterns and matching deck lid beauty panels. In 1959 De Villes became Series 63. THIS 1959 CADILLAC SEDAN DEVILLE IS LOCATED IN: MARLBORO, NY 12542, AND COMES WITH A CLEAR NEW JERSEY TITLE Here is your opportunity to own a fantastic, 3 owner, 1959 Cadillac Sedan Deville. The car has always been stored inside, always pampered and driven sparingly with only 95,000 original miles. The original owner ordered the car as his "Sunday Driver" and kept it until 1977 with about 50,000 miles on it. The second owner (and personal friend) purchased the car to add to his extensive collection. At that time the car was stripped and repainted in the original black. The third owner purchased the car in January of 2002 with about 91,000 miles on it and continued to care for the car, and done some work. Rebuilt the front end, replaced the foam in the seats, re-chromed the back bumper, etc. The car has always been garaged, under cover and never washed or seen rain, only dusted. The car has the original engine and runs great at 75 mph on the highway. All power windows work great as well as the power seat. Radio does not work and it does not have air. Comes with the original manual. This car sits in the garage, under cover most of the winter and starts right up after sitting. The bottom of the car is clean. The paint has some minor imperfections but shines nice. This is one of the few remaining 59 Caddy"s in this original condition and always gets a honk or a thumbs up.
