1959 AMC Rambler Cross Country

The wagon runs, shifts, drives and stops. It’s a driver quality car that turns heads. Straight 6cyl manual trans with 3 on the tree. The New- -rear end rebuilt with NOS Axles, bearing and seals. -tires with white walls -shocks all the way around -radiator -battery -muffler -paint - hot rod flat frost green metallic -any frame rust and floor pan rust repaired. Painted and undercoated -all fluids front to back are fresh. -new thermostat and coolant after engine flush -fuel tank restored inside and out -new fuel line front to back -new brake lines to the rear -all hoses and belts new
The good- -seats in good shape. -most stainless is near perfect. A couple pieces have dings -oil pan plug stripped but repaired and when pan was off the car there was no metal in the pan and the lower end of the motor was super clean. -matching spare tire. -some front end bushings are new -all the glass is decent -all windows work The not so great- -fuel dauge doesn’t work- I’m certain it’s a ground and might have it fixed by the time it sells. It has a new sending unit. -windshield as a stone chip -needs a tailpipe from the muffler to the rear. -Head liner has some cuts to get the roof rack off. -needs tie rods, they’re sloppy, Rockauto has them. -exhaust manifold has a leak and it was jalopy patched by previous owner - I have not investigated. I can just see a patch, -rides like a truck -front rubber brake lines don’t leak but look old and should be swapped. Rockauto has them. I think I have 1 new one to go with the car. -front doors have interior door panels. Back doors had them removed but saved for templates -No carpet in the car. 57 Chevy 4 door wagon carpet will work.
I’m certain there are a dozen smaller items I have bought new and replaced but can’t remember. It’s a driver weekend driver car or LS swap it ! ! Located in Centreville, MD.

At full price the Grille, roof rack, tail light bezels and fin trim will come with the car after it returns from the chrome shop. Anything less then full price the Grille, roof rack, tail light bezels and fin trim can be negotiated and purchased.
