Vehicle Details This car has had 2 owners and the second one passed away last spring. I'm selling it for the family whom I've known since 1965 when they drove it to Colorado from Dallas Texas. They purchased the car in Dallas in 1963. The car includes the original E-475 V-8 engine which was standard equipment with the Citation trim level and the most powerful V8 Ford had to offer in 1958 rated at 345 HP and 475 ft. lbs. of torque (thus the E-475) which was quite impressive for the time. The engine was removed from the car some time back so the owner could put it in his 1964 Ford F-100 to pull his camper and we don't know if it is in running order or not but it is complete and could be rebuilt if one desired to do so. You can even still buy rebuild kits on eBay. The body is straight with very few and very minor damage and surface rust (no holes or any rust through spots) that can be seen in the pictures. The car has been sitting in the garage for almost 40 years so it's still pretty well preserved and would make a great restoration project or parts car. The chrome trim is all in tact and in excellent shape with very little in the way of flaws. The interior including seats and headliner is in good shape considering it's 64 years old. Most of the glass will need to be replaced due to the car being vandalized while sitting in front of the house prompting the owner to make room for it in the garage.
