Vehicle description
This is a rare 1958 Chevrolet Apache short bed big window 50th Anniversary Gold Edition.
With a very low production number. as a matter of fact the production number on these trucks are lower than the cameos of that year. which makes it even more rare and more collectible.
It was repainted in the 1986 solid white. . I painstakingly sanded the top half of the truck with 320 wet dry sandpaper to reveal the original beautiful gold paint.
At that time (1986) the engine was replaced with a 327 Chevy engine out of a 1968 Impala SS. . and has a four speed manual transmission. . engine does start and run. . the floorboards and cab are solid it does have minimal surface rust here and there. . it still retains the original wood paneling in the bed and they are in very good shape for its age. .
I have enclosed pictures of the interior without carpet and the seat to show how solid are the floorboards it currently has carpet and the seat as you can see in the pictures
It has a clean Nevada title in hand , on my name , at my current home address here in Sparks Nevada which is about 5 miles from Reno.
