* * RELISTING AFTER A BUYER FAILS TO HONOR HIS WINNING BID* *
1958 Chevrolet Delray for auction. Non-running but a survivor.
South Georgia car. A great project that comes with a new set of floor and trunk pans still in the box. We removed the head to see if the Straight Six could be saved, but it is bad. Will need another engine. We left the engine in the car because the drive train is intact. The light and engine harnesses are intact and hooked up. The front clip is in great shape.
Dash is in great shape and includes a factory or dealer installed radio and clock, two items that were not standard equipment on a Delray. This car was special ordered by the customer.
The car is a factory 3 speed on the column. At some point it was moved to the floor.
Engine bay is in great shape.
The frame underneath is solid and the exterior metal will need work but for a "58 it is in great shape.
Bumpers are in good driver shape. So is the grill.
The interior is all there: seats, door handles and window cranks. Doors open and close easily.
Pics of the interior and trunk tell the good and bad.
Does not have a fuel tank or radiator.
All in all this is a "58 that can be restored or modified. Two door 1958 Chevrolet Delrays are hard to find these days. . .as I said this one is a survivor!
I have a set of period correct BF Goodrich poly tires on Chevrolet 14x5 wheels. They are not included in the auction but can be purchased separately(at a discount) if the buyer is interested. The tires are in like new shape.
Low reserve! All sales final. Bill of Sale only. Buyer responsible for shipping.
Call or text me at if you have any questions.
