Vehicle description
1958 Cadillac Sedan DeVille in storage 37 years. This car came from Hobbs New Mexico and still has New Mexico title and plates. Last registered in 1983. Hobbs New Mexico is a very arid climate which is why this car is in rust free condition. Youtube video link https:/ youtu.be/lhqFzuPvkPQ There is no rust on the car. Floors, rocker panels, fenders are all solid. I have photographs of the underside I will send to you as requested or you can watch the video. Car runs and drives. Some time in the 1970 the car was repainted the original colors. The quality of the paint job is below average. The paint looks good when cleaned up and you could enjoy it as it is. when I got this car the tires on it were Montgomery Wards brand and were at least 40 years old and would not reliably hold air. I replaced those tires with new black wall ones and put a set of Port O Walls on them. Port O Walls are overlays that give it the wide whitewall look. They look awesome and work well for a fraction of the cost and were being used on vehicles as far back as the 40s. I replaced the fuel tank with a reproduction tank and a new sending unit. I put a battery in the car and fresh gasoline, topped off the fluids and it started right up. The interior is in beautiful condition. The carpet is in excellent condition.
