My father and I purchased this Eldorado approximately 8 years ago. We are the 3rd owners. Took less than a minute to say it"s coming home with us. It had 13,100 original miles when we bought it and it now has 14,546 original miles. Please no calls looking for documentation to verify miles. The car speaks for itself in all areas to check (as I did). Depending on which expert you talk to about what signifies a survivor - I will leave that up to you. It has had one repaint and top redone. Outside of that you"re looking at 1958. The original license plates are to this car. Interior shows so little wear and the one spot that will make you look is the driver side bottom "bolster". I will say that this car has lived a peaceful and well taken care of life for 63 years. I took a picture of the ownership tag that is in the front support. The way that has held so nicely tells you a little more about this car. Car runs well and all 3 carburetors are in sync. I would safely say 90% of the factory under coating is intact. This is a clean car. In my opinion, the factory chrome from 1958 still looks pretty good. The plush carpet is still from 1958 and a little cleaning is all. Carpet will amaze you in how it has remained in this condition. Now time for the cons. Most of you will laugh as these really aren"t cons for most of us. The gas gauge and temp gauge aren"t working. The power trunk recently stopped grabbing. Motor is still fine so this will need very little tinkering. There isn"t anything broken.
