Vehicle description

1958 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN6 Chassis Number: BN6-L/3061 Body Number: 2475 Engine Number: 26D-U-H/69038 Build Date: September 9, 1958 Primrose yellow exterior, black interior, black top This is a rare and unusual Healey. It is the 2-seater BN6 in a rare standard configuration – no over drive and disk wheels. BN6s were clearly the best and most desirable of 100-6s. BN6s were limited in production especially in this configuration. Also making this car very unique and collectible is that it was restored by Roger Moment . He completed a complete nut and bolt restoration in 2007 and the car has very limited miles since then. Roger is recognized as the opinion leader on Austin Healey originality and authenticity. He is a prolific technical writer on Healeys and maintains the Concours Guidelines. When the restoration was complete, Roger wrote a detailed article about the car and published it as the feature article in the Austin Healey Magazine in the fall of 2007. See picture of the cover, a pdf of the article can be emailed. The car is also shown in Bill Piggott"s book; Factory Original Austin Healey 100/6 & 3000 on page 30. The car was judged at the 2008 San Diego Conclave and achieved the Concours Gold level certification. The only deviation from the original restoration is the car now utilizes a single 12 volt battery and the radiator hoses and clamps have been replaced. All numbers match the Heritage Certificate . Photographs of the Chassis, Body, and Engine Number Plates will be emailed upon request. The car comes with: All tools, jack and jack handles and bag. Side curtains and bag, Owners Handbook, judging forms, gold level grill badge, original keys and car cover. Also included is a two board display of the article Roger wrote on the car. Mileage stated from odometer may change as car is in use. Original Mileage unknown. The car is titled as a 1959 in my name. This car being rare would be a great addition to any Healey or vintage car collection. Offers/Trades considered. Inspections welcomed. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at auction close, balance due prior to pick-up. Car will not be released until all funds clear.
