1957 359 speedster replica kit car. these cars were built in the 90"s in rolling chassis form by CMC of North Dakota they built several different cars including hot rods, and cobra replicas. I have done fiberglass work myself for over 30 years and recognize great quality when I see it, these guys really did a great job on these.the 359 uses several of the iconic looks of the 356 along with strong resemblances to the 959. these rarely come up for sale, and when they do they command decent money. this car sold a few years back at Bob"s Classics in Florida for close to 20 grand. all the paperwork suggests that it is a 912 drivetrain (glorified VW) it has been driven very few miles since then. I have owned a few of these over the years and currently have two of them. This is the first one I have ever owned that has a top, and roll up windows. most have side curtains or no top at all. the paint,interior,wheels,bright work and general overall condition are very good. (in my opinion a 9-out of 10) All accessories and equipment seems to operate as it should, the car is a blast to drive and gets all the attention everywhere you take it. It really needs nothing, jump in it take it to the car shows in the park, whatever.
