That happened today in our Fairfield showroom with the arrival of this 1957 Pontiac Chieftain 2 Door Hardtop that’s fresh off a . . complete rotisserie restoration. It features Black Cherry Pearl paint with a burgundy/white leather interior and you’ll find the original 347 Tri Power V-8 with the matching Hydro-Matic transmission under the hood. This amazing classic also has power front disc brakes, Vintage A/C, premium wheels, an upgraded CD/stereo system in the trunk and too many more spectacular features to fully list. Fresh Off a Museum Quality, Complete Rotisserie Restoration This 1957 Pontiac Chieftain has been painstakingly restored back to museum quality with every single nut and bolt removed and replaced with new hardware. The body was also taken down to bare metal and then primed, sealed, and sprayed with two stage Black Cherry Pearl paint. Then the stainless trim was straightened and polished, while all the chrome was triple plated. The factory 347 engine was also rebuilt and balanced as was virtually every component throughout this desirable classic. Additionally, a few modifications were performed during the restoration. The fuel tank filler neck was rerouted into the trunk. Power Front disc brakes were installed along with Vintage A/C, a 100 amp alternator, a premium sound system in the truck and gorgeous Cadillac chrome wire wheels. The results are simply spectacular as well; this Chieftain looks feels and drives like a brand new classic. Ample documentation of the process restoration is available on file.
