Vehicle description
1957 Ford Thunderbird located in Newport Beach, California. This car has been completely restored and meticulously maintained. The passenger compartment, engine bay, and undercarriage are immaculate. Highly detailed engine bay with inspection markings. Built on November 20 th , 1957, this Thunderbird carries the factory correct paint color of “Sun Gold” which was actually a 1958 color the factory applied on late 1957 cars. Colonial white pleated vinyl interior. Previously owned by a United States Navy flight commander of an aircraft carrier, the windshield still bears the parking pass from Miramar Air Station near North San Diego County, California from 1991. It also has “year of manufacture” 1956/1957 yellow California license plates which will only stay with the car if sold in California. Engine: D-Code 312, 4 Valve, V8 with 245 horsepower. Includes chrome air cleaner, Thunderbird finned valve covers, aluminum air conditioning compressor, under-dash air conditioning unit which blows ice cold air. Manual 3-speed transmission with overdrive. Axle ratio: 3:70 to 1. No power steering, no power windows, and no power seats which means less things to go wrong! ! Includes a white vinyl manual operated convertible top. Also includes a removable hardtop with portholes painted in Sun Gold which matches the body. Older aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette radio with large Pioneer TS-X30 speakers behind seat. Radio works very well. Manual telescopic steering column. Includes Seat Belts. The whitewall tires have good tread, but they probably need replacement soon. The odometer reads 41000 miles, but I do not believe this is accurate because there is very little road grime and hardly any dirt under the car, but I cannot prove the correct mileage since the restoration. I did not restore this car. Comes with the original factory invoice from Dearborn, Michigan stamped and dated November 21 st , 1957. Drives great! Everything works! This is really a beautiful car. NO AUTO BROKERS OR CAR FLIPPERS! ! I do not need any help from outside parties to sell this car. No international buyers. You are welcome to have a professional inspection conducted on the car at your own expense. Price: $43,995. Call Harley in California at
