1957 Chevrolet "BLACK WIDOW" nascar "Nalley Chevrolet" recreation on a rust free body with show car paint and stainless. First time shown or offered for sale. This car is a Real V8 factory 1211B car. Cowl tag is original and also indicates paint as "SPEC". This car project started over 13 years ago with the find of a ORIGINAL 5" air cleaner at a Fuel Injection repair and parts service in the Los Angeles area. A friend of over 40 years put me on to it ,since he already had one, and also has a original front and rear suspension from a Black Widow car that he traded for in the 70"s . He also allowed the reproduction of the front hubs at a certified C&C machine service ( they are not truck hubs!) and the lo an of the suspension to recreate this car.

Correct 6 lug front hubs with drilled brake backing plates 15" rims with Firestone 710 15 bias ply tires enlarged tie rods and ends boxed "A" arms with additional shocks and correct mounting Reinforced front frame tops with added front crossmember Large front sway bar Added transmission mount crossmember Bolted safety rear motor mounts Exhaust routed through frame and rocker panels Narrowed truck rear end with Original axles on both sides, drilled brake backing plates and reinforcement bar 6 leaf genuine 57 rear springs Added rear crossmember with dual spiral shocks 20 gallon gas tank with correct inlet, straps and rear mounting spacers Oversized radiator with Harrison top with offset hose location and fan guard. NOS wiper motor with tricovac and correct switch 548 block with 539 heads, Dutov 283 solid lifter cam built to original specs. Fenton dual outlet headers with correct hand built exhaust pipes Original 5" air cleaner with correct ac filter, 5" hose (to NOS specs) and 5" scoop. 1957 520 fuel injection unit and 905 distributor restored & calibrated by Chuck Smith performance. All correct deep groove pulleys Correct 1957 hydro-vac brake system Brake master cylinder fluid extender
