Beautiful mostly original 1957 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. I have owned this car for the past 25 years, having purchased it from the family of the original owner. The car drives and runs fantastic as a vintage fifties Cadillac should-I have made significant mechanical repairs and upgrades in the years I have owned the car. The interior is totally, completely original down to the carpet and dash pad. The pad shows typical sagging but is otherwise clean and presentable. The cloth brocade is in excellent condition-the pink leather is a little dry in spots but otherwise rip free. The following work has been done during my ownership -transmission-complete rebuild of the factory 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission, brakes-replaced all 4 wheel cylinders, hold down springs, adjusters, front drums expertly re-lined and cut, unique 1957-only vacuum booster professionally rebuilt-engine-block replaced with date correct 1957 block, cylinders bored, new pistons, pins, rings, crank polished, new rear main seal, new cam, lifters, push rods, oil pump rebuilt, heads are correct original heads that have had exhaust valves and seats replaced with hardened materials for unleaded fuel, all external accessories rebuilt-starter motor, water pump, fuel pump, carburetor, generator, distributor, new voltage regulator, period correct AGM battery, belts, hoses, radiator recored-entire engine compartment painted and detailed. Roof could use a refinish but is presentable enough for a driver. Paint and bodywork was done years ago but again, is perfectly presentable for a driver. Chrome is mostly original, again, fine for a driver, pit and dent free but is not show chrome.
