ENGINE: It came with a basic VW 1600 cc engine. I bought a brand new high performance 2110 cc dual port oil cooled engine. It has 2 powerful and readily responsive Kadron newly rebuilt carbs. Electric ignition with a high performance coil is a nice upgrade. The engine starts right away. A new clutch was installed. All engine belts are brand new. Finally, a custom exhaust gives a great feel and sound just like the speedster. Less than 500 miles 165/80R15 tires.
INTERIOR All leather spotless seats and door panels. Pristine interior Blue Carpet. My wife and I are hard core music lovers so we installed 8 JL speakers C2-650 x 225 Watts component speakers with a Rockford Fosgate 75WX4CH amp producing a no distortion sound. The custom installation was done so good you can only see the door speakers. Everything else is hidden under the dash.
EXTERIOR Brand new paint NO scratches or dents. Smooth as fiberglass can be. Chassis clear pink slip shows 1971 VW. Registration up to date. Clear CA title.
I would consider 2010 and up Porsche 911 Cabriolet with blue and tan interior. I will pay extra cash if need it.
